Markham Stouffville Hospital is an acute care (309 beds) and community hospital serving south-east York Region. The hospital is located on Ninth Line north of Highway 7 in east-end Markham, Ontario, Canada, immediately south of the town of Whitchurch–Stouffville. It is also referred to as a base hospital, as a resource centre for paramedics region-wide.
Michael Garron Hospital (MGH), formerly Toronto East General Hospital (TEGH), is a community teaching hospital located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. MGH provides care for nearly 20,000 inpatients, has more than 60,000 emergency visits, 215,000 outpatient visits and delivers nearly 3,500 babies. The hospital has over 2,600 employees and 400 physicians and midwives on staff. It provides an extensive range of ambulatory (outpatient), inpatient and community-based programs and services.

Ably Medical (Ably) is a Norwegian-based company focused in revolutionizing the very core of patient recovery. In close cooperation with health professionals, Ably is redefining what a hospital bed can be, from the ground up.
MaRS Discovery District (MaRS or MaRSDD) is a not-for-profit corporation founded in Toronto in 2000. Its stated goal is to commercialize publicly funded medical research and other technologies with the help of local private enterprises and as such is a public-private partnership. As part of its mission MaRS says, “MaRS helps create successful global businesses from Canada’s science, technology and social innovation.” As of 2014, startup companies emerging from MaRS had created more than 4,000 jobs, and in the period of 2011 to 2014 had raised over $750 million in capital investments.

Southlake Regional Health Centre (Southlake) is a full-service hospital with a regional, clinically advanced focus located in Newmarket, Ontario. Southlake offers almost 400 patient beds and accommodates more than 90,000 visits to the Emergency Department, 22,000 in-patient admissions, and 600,000 out-patient visits each year. As a regionally designated site, Southlake is responsible for developing and providing advanced levels of care to the more than one million people.
West Park Healthcare Centre (West Park) is a specialized rehabilitation centre located in Toronto, Canada. It offers a wide range of services to patients including complex continuing care, long-term care and community health services helping individuals manage difficult health challenges like lung disease, diabetes, stroke, amputation and musculoskeletal issues arising from a life-changing event or illness. West Park combines the feel of a person-centred village with the effectiveness of an evidence-based hospital.
Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) is medical group located in Ontario constituting of five hospital sites and five specialized facilities in Hamilton and West Niagara. It operates McMaster Children’s Hospital (located within McMaster University Medical Centre, which also includes women’s health and adult outpatient care), Hamilton General Hospital, Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre, St. Peter’s Hospital and West Lincoln Memorial Hospital. With 15,000 staff, physicians, researchers and volunteers, HHS serves the health needs of approximately 2.3 million residents of Hamilton, Central South and Central West Ontario, from pre-birth to end-of-life.
